Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- some heavy lifting (25-30lbs)
- ability to work well under pressure
- ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift
- ability to communicate (speak, read and write English)
- able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to communicate effectively in English, including speaking, reading, and writing
- experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- strong sales skills
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service
- proper cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Set-up and break-down of the dining room and service stations
- clearing and resetting tables
- a series of side work assignments
- general cleaning of the work area
- constantly keeping areas clean, neat and organized
- assist other employees as needed
- pre-bus tables
- courteously greet customers and inform of current food promotions and specials
- answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverages
- visually inspect all products to ensure garnishes are added appropriately and food products are eye-appealing
- remove dirty dishes as needed between courses and at the end of the meal
- return dishes to dishwashing area
- report all food and service complaints to the manager
- stock silverware, small containers, food products/garnishes, condiments, and various items
- take orders and transmit to kitchen
- ensure that prepared orders meet high standards before serving to guests
- attend to customers in a speedy, friendly and proper fashion
- correctly collect and process payment including cash out at end of shift
