The role of Server at Bertucci's is integral to the guest experience, ensuring that every customer receives attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Servers are responsible for implementing Bertucci's service philosophy by paying close attention to guest needs, answering questions regarding the menu, and providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area. Servers take food and drink orders, relay these orders accurately to the kitchen, verify the quality of meals before serving, and handle payment processes, including end-of-shift cash outs.
Beyond serving duties, this role includes maintaining the dining room and service stations by setting up and breaking down areas, clearing and resetting tables, and assisting fellow team members when needed. The server is also expected to uphold the visual appeal of the food, ensure garnishes and presentations meet Bertucci's standards, and report any food or service complaints to management promptly. Job Duties

- removing dirty dishes between courses and at the end of the meal
- reporting all food and service complaints to the manager
