- prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen maintenance role preferred
Job Duties
- Stack clean dishes on racks ensuring clean water and detergent are used in the dishwasher
- deliver clean dishes to designated areas for use as time permits
- rinse bus buckets
- clean and dry pots pans utensils and dough boxes
- remove trash and perform general cleaning of the work area
- receive unload and rotate products from vendors as needed
- perform general location maintenance
- assist cooks with prep as needed
- prepare the dishwashing machine for daily activity by opening and inspecting for cracked or broken equipment and dishes
- identify broken and cracked dishes and discard appropriately
- monitor dishwashing machine for correct operation and report malfunctions promptly
- clean dishwasher and surrounding area throughout the day and at close of business
