Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, and stoop
  • Must comply with company policies and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms
  • Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving property
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest
  • Identify and explain room features such as use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, and valet laundry services
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms or designated bell area
  • Assist guests and visitors in and out of vehicles including loading and unloading luggage
  • Arrange transportation for guests such as taxicab, shuttle bus, limousine or sedan service and record advance transportation requests
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
  • Follow all company policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises
  • Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests and anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
