The role of Bellstand Attendant at Hyatt Vacation Club presents a full-time opportunity to be an essential part of the guest experience team. The hourly wage for this position is competitive at $19.45 per hour. Bellstand Attendants play a vital role in welcoming, assisting, and providing high-quality service to owners, guests, and visitors. This position requires working 1st or 2nd shifts, including weekends and holidays, as being present during peak times is critical to maintaining seamless guest service.

As a Bellstand Attendant, you will be the first point of physical contact with guests arriving at the resort. Your duties include greeting guests warmly, escorting them to their rooms, opening doors, and personally assisting with luggage handling. You will inform guests about the property’s amenities, services, and hours, as well as share local area highlights to enhance their stay. Transporting luggage safely and efficiently, helping with luggage storage and retrieval, and assisting guests in and out of vehicles are key elements of the role. The position requires strong interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for.

The position demands physical activity such as bending, lifting, pulling, and standing for extended periods, with the ability to handle items up to 50 pounds. This ensures that the Bellstand Attendant can meet the physical requirements of transporting luggage and supporting guests effectively. The role also includes following company safety policies and contributing to a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and team members.

Job Duties

  • Greets and escort guests to their rooms
  • opens doors and assists owners/guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
  • informs guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities
  • transports guest luggage to and from the villa/guest room and/or designated bell area
  • assists with luggage storage and retrieval
  • assists owners/guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting with loading/unloading luggage
  • welcomes and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
