As a Bellperson\/Valet at our resort, you are often the first and last impression guests receive, playing a pivotal role in shaping their overall stay. This position welcomes guests with warmth and a friendly demeanor, assisting them with their luggage, and ensuring vehicles are safely parked and retrieved. The Bellperson\/Valet acts not only as a greeter but also as a helpful resource by providing guests with valuable information about the resort’s amenities, services, and local attractions. This role demands professionalism, a positive attitude, and an enthusiastic approach to customer service to create memorable guest interactions that enhance the overall guest experience.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team focused on a shared goal of guest satisfaction. In addition to standard duties, you will assist other departments such as the front desk, valet, and concierge during busy times, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. This multifaceted role not only contributes to seamless guest arrivals and departures but also enriches the overall guest experience, making each visit to our resort remarkable and highly memorable.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods (up to 8+ hours)
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull luggage
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing stairs
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to safely operate vehicles and navigate large resort property

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality, valet, or customer service experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong guest-first attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have open availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Must be 21 years of age or older due to insurance requirements for valet driving duties
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required for vehicle operation

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm upon arrival and departure
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms
  • Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles while maintaining secure key control
  • Escort guests to rooms and explain resort amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Provide directions, valet coordination, taxi service, and other guest assistance as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell carts, valet area, lobby, and entrances
  • Deliver packages, amenities, messages, or other guest items promptly and courteously
