This position may also require the operation of shuttle vans or limousines, supporting guest transportation needs efficiently and safely. The Bellperson supports the front-of-house operations by managing luggage storage, preparing room lists for incoming and outgoing guests, and delivering various items such as packages, flowers, and newspapers directly to rooms. Maintaining clear communication with guests and staff members is vital in this role to ensure that all service requests are handled promptly and courteously.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 19 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- previous hotel environment experience preferred
- alcohol awareness certification
- valid Nevada driver's license
- ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
- ability to lift and move product up to 80 lbs
- fine finger manipulation
- ability to work indoors and outdoors
- regular predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a hotel environment as a valet or bell person preferred
- effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language
- alcohol awareness certification required

Job Duties
- May be required to drive the shuttle van as needed
- greet and assist every guest, building a memorable arrival and departure experience
- learn and use guest’s names, preferences, and routines
- develop a personal connection with each guest
- retrieve and operate bell carts
- provide instructions regarding the amenities of the room, property services and activities provided for guests' use
- deliver messages, express check-out folios, newspapers, and other requested items
- retrieve, transport, organize and store luggage in designated area
- identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services)
- prepare room lists for arriving and departing groups
- deliver sundry items, packages, flowers, etc., to rooms and suites
- proactively interact, respond to, and anticipate guest needs for service
- inquiries regarding hotel features, services, outlet hours, and room accounts through effective communication, guest assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies/guidelines in a courteous, professional manner
- works the Bell Desk by writing tickets for baggage, helps with luggage and appropriately places guest’s luggage in holding area
- may drive the shuttle van and limousine as needed
- establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests
- using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond” as appropriate
- knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations
- perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike
- immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager
- maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same
- regular predictable attendance is required
- other duties and responsibilities as assigned
