We are currently seeking a Bellperson who will serve as a vital part of the Hotel Drover team. This role is essential in creating memorable first and last impressions that convey the hotels core values and the legendary Texas hospitality it is known for. The Bellperson is responsible for providing personalized assistance to guests, including luggage handling, offering directions, and sharing insights about the property and the Fort Worth Stockyards area. Each interaction is an opportunity to reflect the hotels commitment to excellence and to contribute to a seamless and welcoming guest experience.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating meaningful guest experiences and take pride in being an extension of the hotels mission and culture. This role requires someone who is driven, personable, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service every day. The Bellperson will assist guests with their needs, escort them to their rooms, and provide knowledgeable information about hotel amenities and local attractions. They will also be responsible for safely transporting guests within designated service areas, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces, and supporting front office operations and special events.

This position demands a high level of attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset. It is crucial that the Bellperson embodies Hotel Drovers core values, including integrity, innovation, warmth, intentionality, respect, fairness, and curiosity. Flexibility in schedule, excellent communication skills, and a valid drivers license with a clean driving record are also essential. Experience in hospitality or knowledge of local attractions is preferred but not required.

Working conditions include the ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods, as well as the physical capability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds. The candidate should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and interacting frequently with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests with a warm, genuine, and professional welcome that reflects the spirit of Hotel Drover
  • assist guests with luggage handling upon arrival and departure, ensuring careful and efficient service
  • escort guests to their rooms, offering an overview of hotel amenities, property features, and local attractions
  • safely transport guests using the hotel’s house car for local travel within approved service areas, providing courteous and knowledgeable service during all transfers
  • provide accurate directions and helpful information regarding the Fort Worth Stockyards and surrounding area
  • respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution
  • maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the lobby, entryway, and public areas to uphold Drover standards
