We are currently seeking a part-time Bell Person with open availability to join our dedicated team. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, the Bell Person plays a crucial role in enhancing guest experiences by providing attentive, courteous, and efficient luggage assistance. This position demands a polished appearance, strong communication skills, and a friendly demeanor to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive, throughout their stay, and at departure. The role involves escorting guests to their rooms, assisting with their luggage, and providing transportation to nearby destinations such as the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the hotel or a related customer service field and hold a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma is required for this position.

Job Duties

  • Escorting hotel guests to rooms and assisting with luggage to and from guestrooms
  • transporting hotel guests to the Baton Rouge Metropolitan airport and other venues in the immediate area
  • maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming when working
  • maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
  • be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees
  • establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel
  • answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation promptly and provide information about available services, facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
