Job Requirements
- Standing at least 8 hours a day
- running up to 200 yards 50 times a day or more
- entering and exiting customers vehicles 75 or more times daily
- lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts in and out of vehicles
- communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
- able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for long periods
- grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity
- occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- able to work in a standing position for long periods
- valid driver’s license held for at least one year
- driving record must be approved and maintained in good standing throughout employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform basic arithmetic using American money and measurements
- ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions

Job Duties
- Greet all guests upon arrival
- open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property
- assist arriving and departing guests with luggage promptly
- assist guests in and out of transportation
- maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
- promote all hotel functions and facilities
- monitor and direct vehicle traffic on property
- assist departing guests to their transportation
- communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors
- maintain the cleanliness of the valet area
- assist guests with general information
- monitor and maintain safety and security of parking areas
- identify and explain room features to guests
- supply guests with directions and information regarding amenities
- maintain knowledge of community and local events
- follow all company policies and procedures
- transport guest luggage to/from rooms/designated areas
- follow safety and security policies
- assist individuals with disabilities
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- speak clearly and professionally
- develop positive working relationships
- comply with quality assurance standards
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
