The role of Bellperson at Four Seasons Hotel Denver is an integral part of the guest experience team. As a Bellperson, you will be the first point of contact for arriving and departing guests, providing assistance with luggage, deliveries, and guest inquiries that contribute significantly to the warm and welcoming atmosphere for which Four Seasons is renowned. The Bellperson’s responsibilities extend beyond handling luggage to include delivering newspapers, providing shoe shining services, assisting guests with directions and hotel information, and delivering various hotel packages. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in guest service or a related hospitality field preferred
Basic English proficiency for communication
Ability to lift and carry luggage and packages
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Strong interpersonal skills and courteous attitude
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Willingness to perform tasks that may require local travel
Must comply with Four Seasons’ work rules and standards

Job Qualifications

Ability to read, write and speak English
Previous experience in a hospitality role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment

Job Duties

Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms
Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive
Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups
Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
Resolves customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc
Performs shoeshine service
picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest
Collects guest requests for morning newspapers, places newspapers in bags and delivers the desired newspaper in a timely manner
Greets all guest passing through lobby and offers them assistance
Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property
