The role of a Porter and Valet at 21c Museum Hotels involves providing exceptional guest services that ensure comfort, convenience, and satisfaction. Working under the Front Office Manager and Rooms Manager, the position is integral to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care in the hotel lobby and entrance areas. Porters and valets act as the first and last points of contact for guests, helping with luggage handling, vehicle parking, and delivering requested amenities promptly. The job requires a courteous, professional demeanor, an enthusiastic attitude toward guest interactions, and a readiness to assist in various hotel operations. Candidates should be comfortable managing both manual and automatic transmission vehicles, possess a valid driver's license, and be capable of lifting luggage up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage transport, parking and retrieving vehicles efficiently, maintaining the cleanliness of lobby spaces, and providing guests with information about hotel services and the local area. Porters and valets must stay knowledgeable about local attractions to help enhance guest experiences and maintain a friendly presence to create positive first impressions. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential, as is a clean driving record with at least two years of driving experience.
