The role of Guest Relations Supervisor at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the guest services team to deliver superior customer service aligned with luxury and Forbes service standards. This position typically operates on a 3pm to 11pm schedule and includes responsibilities such as assisting with hiring and training personnel, coaching team members, resolving guest issues, managing operational budgets, and maintaining efficient scheduling. The supervisor acts as manager on duty in the absence of senior leadership, taking charge of day-to-day operational needs and ensuring high service quality.
Guest Relations Supervisors are expected to challenge the status quo by continuously seeking ways to enhance guest service delivery, improve team member engagement, and elevate service scores. Additional duties include managing inventory for team member supplies, supporting leadership with administrative tasks, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Familiarity with Forbes rating standards and proficiency in associate training techniques is essential to thrive in this role.
This role demands strong communication skills, physical stamina as the job involves extensive standing and occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds, and the ability to work in outdoor weather conditions. Working weekends and holidays may be required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a valid Florida State Driver’s License to operate company golf carts. Job Qualifications
- one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner

Job Duties
- assist with hiring, training, coaching and takes ownership of all guest services personnel
- resolve guest opportunities utilizing luxury and forbes service standards
- maintain operational budget by utilizing knowledge of cost control initiatives
- complete scheduling and draft schedule for the guest service team in absence of guest service manager and/or in assistance with leadership team
- act as manager on duty for the guest services team members in the absence of senior leadership
- challenge the status quo by continually pushing to enhance the overall service, team member engagement and service scores
- assist with inventory of team member item usage, purchasing and monthly necessities and/or as needed for upkeep of the department
- assist guest service manager with assigned tasks and duties as requested and/or assigned
- generate reports as requests by senior leadership
- be familiar with forbes rating standards and associate training techniques
- perform other tasks as requested or assigned
