The resort is currently seeking a Bellperson to join its dedicated Front Drive team. This position plays a critical role in creating memorable first impressions and seamless guest experiences. The Bellperson is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the guest's arrival and departure. Working at Sundance Mountain Resort means embodying the values of the resort through personalized and attentive service. The role demands exceptional hospitality skills, attention to detail, and an ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in both fast-paced and more relaxed environments.
This hourly, non-exempt position offers a competitive rate of $14.00 per hour plus service charges, with variable shifts based on occupancy levels. Coverage is required from 6:30 am to 1:00 am, with 9-hour shifts, and candidates must be available weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate is at least 25 years old and is prepared to provide outstanding guest service while collaborating closely with the Bell Captain, Boot Room Attended, and Front Desk teams. Job Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months related experience and/or training
- Ability to operate 2-way radio
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last two years and in good standing
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Availability for variable shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months related experience and/or training
- Computer proficiency preferred
- Resort experience preferred
- Ability to operate 2-way radio for communication
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with fewer than two moving violations in the last two years
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be 25 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Warmly welcome and engage every guest, taking care to learn names and preferences whenever possible
- Provide personalized assistance with directions, resort information, and activity updates to ensure guests feel informed and at ease
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional presentation of the Bell stand, Sundance vehicles, and guest reception areas
- Seamlessly introduce guests to the Front Desk or Concierge when appropriate, ensuring smooth transitions
- Deliver personalized in-room check-ins, orienting guests to their accommodations and the property
- Assist with luggage handling, delivering bags promptly and respectfully to lodging units
- Respond quickly to shuttle requests and guest deliveries with courtesy and efficiency
