The Valet role at Mirbeau is pivotal in ensuring each guest receives a welcoming and seamless experience from arrival through departure. This position works closely with Guest Services and Front Desk teams to provide a polished and professional first impression that reflects the resort’s commitment to hospitality excellence. Duties include greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, escorting guests to their rooms while providing orientation, and facilitating resort tours with detailed information about amenities and local attractions. The Valet also manages thoughtful guest requests, transports guests safely in company vehicles, and maintains the cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles and key public areas.

Beyond guest interaction, the Valet supports property presentation by keeping bell stands, lobbies, and entryways clean and organized and performing light maintenance tasks. The role also involves operational duties such as managing lost and found items, printing daily arrivals reports, and maintaining effective communication with other departments to ensure all guest needs are promptly met.

This position offers a competitive pay rate of $17.00 to $19.50 per hour and requires a candidate who is dependable, attentive, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates possess previous hospitality experience, especially in valet, bell attendant, or concierge roles, and hold a valid driver’s license. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred to enable safe operation of company vehicles when transporting guests or running resort errands.

Professional skills essential for success include strong verbal communication, active listening, and a calm, patient demeanor under pressure. Candidates must demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and maintain a high standard of personal appearance consistent with the resort’s elevated image. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift luggage up to 40 pounds, and handle bell carts safely.

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor
  • open doors, offer welcome drinks, and create a polished first impression upon arrival
  • escort guests to their rooms and provide an in-room orientation
  • give tours of the property and provide information on amenities and local attractions
  • assist with luggage handling at check-in, check-out, or upon request
  • deliver special items before guest arrival and accommodate in-room requests
  • provide thoughtful, proactive assistance to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • transport guests safely to and from the resort and maintain company vehicles
  • handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning needs
  • offer resort and area recommendations and upsell services

  • keep bell stand, bell closet, lobby, and entryways clean and stocked
  • maintain front desk restroom cleanliness
  • perform light maintenance and cleaning
  • check housekeeping closets for used trays and dishes
  • polish bell carts regularly
  • print and organize daily arrivals reports
  • log and store lost and found items
  • report low room supplies or equipment issues
  • attend staff meetings and training sessions
  • contribute ideas to improve service
