As a Bell Person and Shuttle Driver at Crowne Plaza North Augusta, you will be an essential ambassador of the hotel, representing the front line of guest interactions. This role demands high energy, professionalism, and a deep commitment to customer service excellence. Your primary responsibilities will involve warmly greeting guests upon arrival, assisting them with their luggage, and providing safe and timely shuttle transportation across North Augusta and the surrounding Augusta area. You will also ensure that guests’ rooms meet the highest standards by inspecting rooms for cleanliness and proper supply levels, explaining room features, and offering information about hotel services and local points of interest.

This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hotel operations while building and sharpening your customer service and hospitality skillset within a fast-paced environment focused on guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred

  • good physical condition to assist with luggage handling

Job Duties

  • Escort incoming guests to rooms
  • assist guests with luggage
  • inspect guest room to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate
  • explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system, etc.
  • offer information pertaining to available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
  • deliver messages and run errands
  • transport guests in hotel van within property requirements
  • maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior of van
  • maintain all mileage records on a daily basis
  • report all trips to front desk
  • length of drive as well as length of time spent
  • keep record of calls for service
  • deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks
  • set up sample rooms
  • respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner
