Job Description

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is part of the Marriott International portfolio, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Established in 1937, Sheraton has grown into a global community of more than 400 locations worldwide, serving as the world’s gathering place for business, leisure, and social events. The brand is dedicated to creating inviting, stimulating spaces where guests can connect and create memories. Sheraton values its associates, embracing a rich blend of culture, talent, and experiences to drive its lasting success in the hospitality industry. As part of Marriott International, Sheraton offers a career path with competitive benefits and an empowering work environment where every associate is encouraged to grow, innovate, and make a meaningful impact.

The Guest Arrival Expert role at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts embodies the spirit of hospitality and first impressions, playing a crucial part in shaping the guest experience from arrival to departure. This position is designed for individuals who are energetic, attentive, and capable of managing multiple operational tasks while ensuring guests feel welcomed and attended to throughout their stay. The Guest Arrival Expert is empowered with the responsibility and autonomy to assist guests proactively by addressing requests, processing needs, and sharing local highlights to enhance the overall experience. This role requires the ability to physically engage with the work environment—standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with the movement of objects within specified weight limits—making it a hands-on position suited to candidates who enjoy dynamic and interactive work.

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who upholds the highest standards of professionalism, including maintaining a polished personal appearance, adhering strictly to company policies, and ensuring confidentiality and safety in the workplace. While previous experience is not required, a high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a willingness to learn and grow within the Sheraton family is essential. This position is a gateway to a rewarding career in hospitality with ample opportunities to develop skills and advance within the Marriott International network.

Joining Sheraton Hotels & Resorts means becoming part of a welcoming, diverse, and dedicated team committed to excellence in guest service. This role focuses on creating memorable, seamless guest arrival and departure experiences that encourage repeat visitation and positive word-of-mouth. The Guest Arrival Expert contributes directly to the brand’s reputation and success by being the friendly, knowledgeable face guests see first and last during their stay. Ultimately, this position is pivotal in delivering the warm, engaging service Sheraton is known for, while also embodying the values of teamwork, respect, and inclusivity.

Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and all associates have access to opportunities for growth and success. Candidate selection is based on merit without regard to disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law. This commitment is reflected in the supportive, collaborative culture at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, where every team member is valued and empowered to contribute their unique talents.
