Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
no prior related work experience required
no supervisory experience required
no licenses or certifications required
ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently
ability to assist with lifting objects over 75 pounds
ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
ability to work full-time
availability during substitution period from May to mid-June
professional demeanor and appearance

Job Duties

Greet and escort guests to their rooms
open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property
inform guests about property amenities, services, operating hours, local areas of interest and activities
identify and explain room functionalities such as room keys, minibar, ice machines, in-room safe, and laundry services
carry guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell area
assist in storing and retrieving luggage
help guests and visitors enter and exit vehicles including loading and unloading luggage
arrange transportation such as taxis or shuttle services for guests and visitors and note transportation requests in advance
communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
comply with all company safety policies and procedures
report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
protect company information and property confidentiality
support coworkers with dignity and respect and contribute to team goals
meet quality assurance standards
move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds independently
assist moving objects weighing more than 75 pounds
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire shifts
move at a speed required to respond to work situations
read and verify information in various formats
reach above head and below knees including bending, twisting, dragging, and stooping
move across inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces and stairs
climb up and down service stairs or ramps
welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer phone calls with proper etiquette
stay alert to the possible presence of undesirable persons on the property
perform other reasonable work duties as requested by supervisors
