The Behavior Technician role at Futures is a part-time position ideal for someone passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities and autism. The position operates primarily during after-school hours, Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and offers an hourly pay rate of $24.50. Additionally, there is a $1,000 new hire bonus as a welcome incentive. Working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician implements behavior management programs designed to promote positive behavioral changes in a center-based environment.

This position demands a hands-on approach in building therapeutic relationships and applying ABA techniques to follow individualized treatment plans. The Behavior Technician will collaborate closely with families and treatment team members to consistently provide effective behavior interventions without disrupting the environment. Key responsibilities include data collection on various behavior metrics, educating parents or guardians on reinforcement techniques, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation. The role also involves scheduling leisure activities to engage clients and participating in clinical team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
