The role of Behavioral Health Associate Licensed Team Leader at RHA Health Services offers a rewarding and impactful opportunity for positive and personable professionals who are passionate about making a real difference. This credentialed position functions as the primary contact and coordinator of services for individuals dealing with Mental Health or Substance Use Issues within residential, school, workplace, and community settings. The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the coordination and monitoring of a wide range of services and supports outlined in each person's Person Centered Plan. These planned interventions are strength-based and focus on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, improved coping abilities, and the achievement of maximum community functioning.
As a licensed professional in this role, the Behavioral Health Associate Licensed Team Leader supervises an interdisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services. This involves direct provision of individual therapy, facilitation of relationships across treatment teams, natural supports, guardians, local agencies, and community networks. The role aims to minimize the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living and personal development. The Team Leader also supports skill-building activities including daily living and community integration skills, social and adaptation skills, and behavioral and anger management. Additionally, they oversee and participate in a first responder on-call system providing timely support to individuals served and their support networks.

Job Requirements
- Must be an associate licensed professional as defined by state agencies and service definitions
- Certain services require additional training, experience, education and/or licensure
- Complete criminal background
- Name checked in the registries including OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements
- Proof of employment history or references if required
- Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle if required for providing transportation for individuals
Job Qualifications
- Must be an Associate Licensed Professional as defined by state agencies and service definitions
- Additional training, experience, education and/or licensure required for certain services

Job Duties
- Supervision of an interdisciplinary team of professionals providing services in the community
- Providing evidence-based individual therapy in a variety of settings
- Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the treatment team, the individual, natural supports, guardians, local agencies and the community
- Minimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with the individual's daily living and personal development
- Supporting the team in providing the individual the development of various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management
- Overseeing and participating in a first responder on-call system available to individuals served by the team and/or their natural support network
