The role of a Behavior Technician at ABS Kids is designed for individuals passionate about helping children grow and develop essential life skills using applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy techniques. This position offers variable part-time shifts, making it an ideal opportunity for a wide range of candidates, from entry-level behavior technicians to experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The company supports career growth by offering paid RBT certification and training on the job, ensuring that even candidates without prior experience can prepare for certification and advance within the organization. Compensation ranges from $19.50 to $24.00 per hour, with additional increases for RBT-certified staff and premium pay for bilingual professionals. The role involves delivering one-on-one ABA therapy support to children with autism, utilizing patience, play, and structured interventions to teach practical skills such as motor abilities, personal hygiene, social interaction, and daily living activities.
