The role of a Behavior Technician (BT) at ABS Kids is essential in delivering hands-on ABA therapy directly to clients, primarily children with autism. This position is designed for individuals ranging from entry-level technicians to those already certified as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Behavior Technicians work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior plans, collect data on client progress, and provide one-on-one therapeutic support using play, patience, and behavioral strategies. The position offers variable part-time shifts tailored to fit various schedules, with typical hours available weekdays from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Candidates bilingual in Spanish/English or other languages can earn additional premium pay of $1.00 per hour, reflecting ABS Kids' commitment to meeting the diverse language needs of its clients.
