With this mission at its core, ABS Kids strives to maintain a culture of continuous learning and respect for diversity, embracing an evolving understanding shaped by the experiences and stories of their team and clients.
This role at ABS Kids is an exceptional opportunity for compassionate and motivated individuals who are eager to make a meaningful difference in the life of a child with autism. As a behavior technician, you will be responsible for implementing individualized behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and collecting data to monitor client progress. The position provides one-on-one support to clients, helping them develop essential developmental and life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living activities, potty training, and social-emotional skills. Working in this role requires high energy, creativity, and dependability, with the ability to frequently move and adjust position to the floor level. You will work independently, continually learning and applying evidence-based behavioral methods to deliver the highest quality care.
Employment with ABS Kids offers a competitive hourly wage typically ranging from $19.50 to $24.00, with additional bonuses including a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment and further increases for those holding Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Paid drive time or mileage reimbursement is provided, as well as paid time off earned for every hour worked, comprehensive paid training, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Beyond financial benefits, employees gain access to career advancement opportunities through the LAUNCH career path, referral bonuses, free continuing education, CPR and safety training, and an extensive employee assistance program offering financial advice, counseling, and mental health resources. The role fosters connection with colleagues nationwide through virtual offices and local events while providing transferable skills valuable for future advancement in the behavioral health field.
ABS Kids stands out as a supportive workplace where diversity and inclusion are deeply embedded values. The company commits to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status. Employees are empowered to thrive in an environment that values every individual’s unique contributions and perspectives, all while participating in work that profoundly impacts children and families facing autism spectrum challenges.
