Job Description

ABS Kids is a dedicated organization committed to enriching the lives of children with autism and their families through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral support services. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential, ABS Kids offers a collaborative, inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and personal growth is prioritized. The company fosters a culture of respect, innovation, and learning, empowering employees to thrive professionally and personally while making a meaningful impact in their communities. At ABS Kids, the mission centers around turning everyday moments into "wow moments," where achievements big and small are recognized as milestones in a child's and family's journey. This company is especially known for being a supportive employer that values the diverse experiences and stories that each staff member brings, committing to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status.

The role available at ABS Kids is designed for compassionate and energetic individuals who want to make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This position involves implementing individualized behavior plans and protocols designed and overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Successful candidates will be responsible for providing one-on-one support, collecting and recording behavioral data, and fostering a safe and respectful environment for both clients and colleagues. The role requires active engagement throughout the day, including frequently getting up and down off the floor and moving quickly to effectively assist children in developing critical life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living tasks, potty training, and social-emotional development.

The employment type is full-time, with competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Employees receive a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment, with additional increases available upon obtaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement are provided to support travel between client homes and other locations. Besides monetary compensation, ABS Kids offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off accrued for every hour worked, and paid training programs.

Beyond the basic benefits, ABS Kids supports career development through their unique LAUNCH career path, which offers clear milestones with rewards such as bonuses and promotions. Employees also enjoy free continuing education, CPR and safety training, and access to an employee assistance program that includes free financial advice, counseling support, and mental health resources. The company fosters a collaborative community with virtual office connections to colleagues nationwide and fun local events, creating a workplace that values both professional growth and personal well-being. This position is ideal for someone passionate about working with evidence-based, scientifically proven methods, and eager to learn transferable skills that can open doors to great careers in behavioral health.
