Job Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience working with kids or adults with special needs in California
  • ability to get up/down off the floor frequently and move quickly
  • dependable and reliable
  • reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
  • tech savviness to learn data collection software and basic office software
  • interest in evidence-based, science-backed behavioral methods
  • energetic, playful, and creative personality

Job Qualifications

  • 6+ months of documented experience working with kids or adults with special needs
  • dependable and reliable with a strong commitment to clients and their families
  • creative, playful, and energetic
  • tech-savvy with the ability to learn data collection and basic office software
  • interested in working with evidence-based methods grounded in science
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as constantly getting up and down from the floor and moving quickly
  • reliable transportation for travel to client homes and other locations

Job Duties

  • make a difference in the life of a child
  • implement individualized behavior plans and protocols designed by board certified behavior analysts under their guidance
  • collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
  • maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
  • help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social/emotional skills
  • get up/down off floor often, move quickly
  • learn new things every day, work independently and provide the best quality care to the kids we serve
