The company is renowned for its evidence-based practices and a deep commitment to making every moment count in the lives of the children and families it supports. With a focus on creating supportive environments both at home and in the community, Kyo has built a reputation as a trusted name in the autism therapy landscape.
The company offers a supportive and growth-oriented work environment with competitive pay, including a pay range of $25.00 to $28.50 per hour, and an attractive $1500 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Kyo’s employment opportunities include both full-time and part-time positions, providing flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Employees benefit from comprehensive training programs, including paid ABA coursework through the Behavior Therapist Academy and ongoing mentorship to ensure professional and personal growth. Moreover, Kyo supports staff in achieving state licensure and credentials, further enhancing their career development.
As a Behavior Therapist at Kyo, you will play a vital role in delivering play-based ABA therapy aimed at helping children with autism reach meaningful goals across different environments such as home, school, and community. This role requires collecting and analyzing data to monitor each child’s progress while collaborating closely with caregivers and clinical teams to maintain high-quality, consistent support. The work is hands-on and requires a positive and enthusiastic attitude, physical stamina, and the ability to engage children in physical and play-based therapies. Kyo also prides itself on its innovative performance-based rewards program called Kyo Climb, which incentivizes exemplary performance and attendance, offering additional pay and bonuses.
Kyo offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for staff who work 30 or more hours per week. Additional perks include mileage reimbursement, referral bonuses, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, employee assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement for those interested in advancing their careers, particularly if pursuing certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role ensures a pathway for career advancement while enabling employees to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism in various communities across San Francisco County and beyond.
