Job Description

Mindcolor Autism is a dedicated organization founded in 2019 with a heartfelt mission to provide compassionate and individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to families affected by autism. Rooted in four foundational principles—client-centric service, a best-in-class team, a culture of excellence, and tireless advocacy—Mindcolor Autism prioritizes quality over quantity, focusing on the measurable success of the children, families, and team members they serve. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and open communication, Mindcolor is committed to empowering each child to reach their fullest potential and enhancing their overall quality of life.

The role of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Mindcolor Autism is central to their clinical care team. Registered Behavior Technicians play a vital role by delivering one-on-one or small group ABA treatment under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position demands compassion, dedication, and skill as RBTs teach a wide array of skills such as functional communication, social skills, and coping strategies tailored to each child’s unique developmental goals. The role requires a balance of direct client interaction and meticulous documentation and data collection to ensure the highest quality of care.

Mindcolor offers a supportive and growth-oriented work environment where staff members receive regular feedback, opportunities for advancement, and extensive training. RBTs at Mindcolor benefit from twice-yearly performance reviews and potential raises, chances to become peer mentors, access to a Student Analyst program designed for BCBA candidates, and paid time for administrative duties like note-writing. The organization fosters a positive workplace culture with team outings, recognition and rewards programs, and a team member referral bonus.

Additionally, Mindcolor invests in the professional development and well-being of its employees. This includes paid training, reimbursement of exam fees and recertifications, 401(k) retirement savings with company match after just 90 days, and a generous approach to time off including PTO, paid holidays, and self-care days. Mindcolor also provides an annual wellness reimbursement and exclusive discounts through the Working Advantage program, reflecting its dedication to holistic health and employee satisfaction.

In this essential role, RBTs are entrusted to make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. They spend the majority of their time working individually with clients to build new skills and confidence while following individualized treatment plans developed by their supervising BCBA. RBTs are expected to be organized and supportive in their documentation and communication efforts to maintain consistent client care. They use evidence-based behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and safely respond to challenging situations. Collaboration with supervisors and teammates is key to ensuring continuous progress and a compassionate, professional approach in interactions with clients and caregivers.

Reliable, professional, and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians are critical to Mindcolor Autism's mission and success. This role is ideal for those passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with autism, eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment, and committed to quality, compassionate care.
