This position for a Behavior Interventionist offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing or continuing a career in psychology, behavioral health, or autism services. The role involves providing in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum and their families. Behavior Interventionists work primarily afternoons, early evenings, and possible weekend mornings, with required commitment of at least 15 hours weekly. The position demands physical activity such as lifting, carrying, and unpacking materials for home visits, along with frequent walking, bending, squatting, and other movements to effectively observe and interact with clients. Reliable transportation and valid driver credentials are essential due to traveling between client locations. New hires must successfully complete an initial two-week, full-time training program to prepare for the responsibilities ahead.
