Within this vibrant and impactful organization, there is an exciting opportunity to join as a Behavior Interventionist. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about working with children and interested in behavioral health or autism services. Behavior Interventionists at Easterseals provide one-on-one, in-home applied behavior analysis (ABA)-based therapy sessions to families and children on the autism spectrum. Candidates in this role should be compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering positive developmental outcomes for children with special needs. The job requires the ability to work in the afternoons, early evenings, and some weekend mornings. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, auto registration, and insurance are necessary to conduct home visits. Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading toys and materials, as well as frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting to effectively observe and engage with participants. All interventionists must undergo a two-week mandatory training program during weekdays, approximately 35 hours in length, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide high-quality ABA therapy.

This position pays a base rate of $24 per hour and typically requires at least 15 hours of work per week during specified hours: Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 8 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM.
