These programs serve thousands of families nationwide, providing a nurturing, educational environment for children from infancy through elementary school years.
At KinderCare, the mission is to build confidence in children, families, and communities by offering high-quality programs tailored to support children’s developmental and educational needs. This commitment is evident in their research-backed, accredited, and customizable programs available across more than 2,000 sites and centers in 40 states and the District of Columbia. The company fosters a dynamic and inclusive work culture that values diversity and offers long-term career growth opportunities for its employees.
The Site Director role at Champions represents an exciting leadership opportunity for professionals passionate about early childhood education and community engagement. As a Site Director, candidates will play a critical role in supporting elementary-aged children during out-of-school time, often working on school grounds in partnership with school and district administrators. The role involves overseeing educational programs that inspire children to aim higher and think bigger, fostering an environment where learning is both fun and meaningful.
Site Directors lead and manage teams of educators, applying nationally recognized curricula to develop engaging classroom experiences and promote excellence in teaching. They are responsible for ensuring that each site operates smoothly by maintaining licensing compliance, safety standards, and educational quality. They collaborate closely with families to support children's learning and development, and also cultivate strong relationships with teachers, school leaders, community organizations, and corporate partners.
This role requires not just operational oversight but also inspires leadership, creative problem-solving, and the ability to promote a culture of enthusiasm, curiosity, and continuous improvement. The Site Director’s ability to recruit new families and expand enrollment is essential to the site’s success.
A typical workweek involves a mix of hands-on engagement with children, coaching and mentoring staff, managing administrative tasks, and community outreach. The role offers a range of rewarding experiences from witnessing children's growth firsthand to building supportive partnerships and enhancing the educational landscape within the community.
The compensation for this position is hourly, ranging from $20.25 to $28.35, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role. KinderCare Learning Companies also provides comprehensive benefits designed to support employees’ professional and personal lives. These include discounted child care, medical, dental, and vision coverage, employee assistance programs, health and wellness initiatives, paid time off, and various discounts on work-related necessities.
By joining KinderCare Learning Companies as a Site Director, individuals become part of an organization dedicated to making a positive impact on children’s lives and contributing to a brighter future for families nationwide. It is a chance to grow professionally in a supportive, forward-thinking environment where dedication to educational excellence and community involvement is celebrated.
