With a presence that spans over 2,000 sites and centers in more than 40 states and the District of Columbia, the company offers a variety of programs including KinderCare Learning Centers, Champions, and Crème de la Crème. These programs are backed by research, accredited, and customizable to meet the diverse needs of families and communities nationwide. The organization's mission emphasizes ensuring that every family has access to high-quality child care, regardless of their background or location.
At KinderCare, the culture is built around community, growth, and delivering exceptional educational experiences. Employees are drawn to the company not only for its impactful mission but also for the supportive work environment and opportunities for professional development. The company values diversity and inclusion, promoting equal opportunity for all qualified applicants without regard to race, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, military or veteran status, gender identity, or any other protected status.
The Site Director role within the Champions program offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary-aged children during out-of-school time, typically on school grounds. As a Site Director, you will lead teams of teachers and collaborate with school administrators to create enriching, engaging, and safe learning environments. The role involves using a nationally recognized curriculum to design unique classroom experiences that inspire students to think bigger and aim higher. You will serve as a pivotal leader who not only manages the operational aspects of the site, such as licensing, safety, and educational standards but also fosters strong, positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, and community stakeholders.
This position requires a passionate individual who is fully engaged and enthusiastic about educational excellence and the development of confident, committed teachers. Site Directors are expected to lead by example, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and growth among their teams. They play a key role in recruitment and enrollment efforts, ensuring that families feel welcomed and supported. The role demands a combination of leadership, organizational skills, customer service, and the physical ability to interact actively with children and staff.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.25 to $28.35, depending on experience and qualifications. KinderCare also provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families through various life stages. Benefits include discounted child care, medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance programs, health and wellness programs, paid time off, and employee discounts on work necessities such as cell phones. Working at KinderCare means joining an organization that prioritizes the integration of work and life, making sure that employees have the resources they need to thrive both professionally and personally.
If you are passionate about inspiring children and educators, enjoy leading teams, and want to contribute to a trusted and respected early childhood education provider, the Site Director position at KinderCare Learning Companies offers a meaningful and rewarding career path.
