Job Description

Belmont Brew House is a locally owned brew house located in Garden City, renowned for its impressive selection of 43 rotating taps featuring a variety of craft beers. This vibrant establishment is more than just a place to enjoy a drink; it is a community hub offering great food, engaging trivia nights, live music performances, and soccer watch parties that create a lively atmosphere for both regular patrons and newcomers. As a neighborhood favorite, Belmont Brew House has cultivated a welcoming environment where guests feel at home and actively partake in the spirited local culture.

Belmont Brew House is currently seeking a friendly and dependable Beertender to join their energetic team. This position is ideal for individuals who have a genuine passion for connecting with people and thrive in a hospitality setting. Whether you are already knowledgeable about different types of beer or eager to learn, this role provides an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of craft beers, from IPAs to lagers, while contributing to a positive guest experience.

The Beertender role at Belmont Brew House is a dynamic position that involves more than just pouring drinks. You will be an integral part of a team that values hard work, fun, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, pouring a variety of beverages including beer, cider, and wine, and assisting guests in finding the perfect drink from the extensive selection of rotating taps. A key aspect of this role is communicating about beer in an approachable and enjoyable way, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and enthusiastic about their choices.

This position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities, typically requiring 3 to 5 shifts per week depending on your availability and the establishment’s scheduling needs. It is essential to have availability for a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, as this ensures that you can meet the operational demands and maintain the exceptional service standards Belmont Brew House is known for. If you are only available for a very limited schedule or a single shift, this role may not be the best fit.

Joining Belmont Brew House means becoming part of a team that values teamwork, positivity, and mutual support. You will have the chance to contribute to a fun and engaging work environment while developing your hospitality skills and expanding your knowledge of craft beer. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy meeting new people, engaging in lively social settings, and working in a place where every shift is a unique and enjoyable experience.
