This position is focused on growing community through building guest loyalty and maximizing profits by providing personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships and result in brand-aligned experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for educating guests on product attributes and providing tailored guidance to meet specific needs and preferences, ensuring that each customer feels valued and understood. Beyond customer interaction, this role involves maintaining the aesthetic and sanitary standards of the Beer Den and Sunmill Wines, ensuring that marketing and brand materials are displayed and utilized effectively. You will work closely with category managers and suppliers to maintain appropriate pricing and product selection, ensuring the best offerings for our guests.

Additional responsibilities include training other clerks and hosts within the Beer Den and Sunmill Wines, conducting tastings and in-store promotions, and adhering strictly to all state laws governing the sale and sampling of beer and wine. A key part of the role is managing the preparation and filling of growlers following established standards, maintaining inventory, and communicating specials and promotions effectively through the PA system. The role demands a self-motivated and trustworthy individual with a thorough understanding of beer and wine, strong sales and communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and capable of physical tasks such as lifting and standing for prolonged periods.
