The Pool Server plays a critical role in delivering this outstanding guest experience by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service in an outdoor poolside setting. The Pool Server must adapt to varying outdoor conditions, including heat, sun exposure, humidity, and occasional rain, maintaining professionalism and an energetic approach throughout their shift. Working poolside requires a high level of service awareness coupled with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous serving experience, preferably in a resort or luxury hospitality environment, and be comfortable working outdoors. This position demands a strong foundation in food and beverage service fundamentals, familiarity with menu items and cocktails, and excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with guests and explain offerings. In addition to serving duties, the Pool Server is responsible for managing orders accurately through the POS system, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff for timely delivery and presentation, and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the service stations.

Additionally, the Pool Server must adhere to all established service standards and regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices and safety considerations unique to the pool area. This includes being vigilant about safety related to wet surfaces and high temperatures to ensure guest safety. The role often involves carrying trays with considerable weight, so physical fitness is important to manage the demands of the job.
