Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months to one year of prior serving experience preferred
- Resort or outdoor service experience a plus
- Must obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications as applicable
- CPR and/or first aid certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest relations
- Working knowledge of menu items, cocktails, and poolside offerings
- Ability to communicate clearly in English to explain menu items and record orders
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs through poolside service areas
- Ability to maintain professionalism while working in outdoor conditions
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously at poolside seating areas, cabanas, and loungers
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and provide clear explanations of menu items, daily specials, and featured cocktails
- Maintain a visible, attentive presence throughout the pool area, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently to poolside locations, ensuring proper presentation and safety
- Replenish beverages and check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Present dessert and specialty beverage options when applicable
- Thank guests and provide a positive final impression at the conclusion of service
