Job Description
This opportunity is with a prestigious luxury resort known for its exceptional Food & Beverage offerings and outstanding guest experiences. The resort operates multiple dining venues, ranging from fine dining establishments to casual eateries, all committed to upholding the highest standards of service and quality. Known for its dedication to excellence and innovation in hospitality, this resort attracts discerning guests and members who expect unparalleled service, atmosphere, and culinary experiences. The resort fosters a dynamic and inclusive work environment, emphasizing employee development, leadership, and continuous improvement. It is a leader in the hospitality industry and a sought-after place of employment for those passionate about luxury service and operational excellence.
The role available is for a flexible and highly skilled Food & Beverage Manager who will provide essential operational support across all resort dining venues. This manager acts as a critical continuity leader by stepping in as the acting Restaurant Manager across various outlets during paid time off, vacation days, or when managerial positions are vacant. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of luxury service standards and the ability to seamlessly adjust to different venue styles and concepts, ranging from upscale fine dining to more relaxed casual settings. This versatility ensures that brand expectations and guest satisfaction remain consistent throughout the Food & Beverage division.
Key responsibilities include executing all facets of restaurant management, including leadership during shifts, opening and closing procedures, financial oversight, and direct guest interaction. The manager will be tasked with conducting regular service audits and discreet performance observations across all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with brand standards, health and safety protocols, and service excellence benchmarks. They will document audit findings, follow up with venue leadership for corrective actions, and maintain accurate records of audits and training sessions.
A significant component of this role is the development and mentoring of management talent within the department. The manager partners with Learning & Development teams to deliver F&B Fundamentals training and leads onboarding, orientation, and 90-day performance assessments for new Food & Beverage managers. Providing targeted coaching to lower management to foster professional growth and uphold service standards is an essential function of this position.
The role also involves guest engagement, handling escalated guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure service recovery aligns with the resort’s esteemed reputation. This manager oversees reservations, particularly managing all activities tied to the F&B Reservationist position and coordinating reservations through Sevenrooms, acting as a liaison between private events, restaurant management, senior leadership, and other departments.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, alongside an ability to adapt to diverse operational demands. Candidates need a demonstrated track record in luxury hospitality operations and team leadership. The resort offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package consistent with its status as a leader in luxury hospitality management.
