The company prides itself on delivering high-level guest service and memorable experiences during the bustling summer season. Known for its commitment to quality and guest satisfaction, this company stands out as a premier destination for beachgoers looking to enjoy refreshing beverages and delightful meals while taking in beautiful outdoor settings. The role focuses on serving guests across multiple beach venues, including Ski Beach and Burnt Cedar Beach, each with distinct service requirements but united by a common goal of customer delight and operational excellence.
In this position, you will be responsible for processing orders and delivering food and beverages efficiently and pleasantly. Ski Beach emphasizes beverage-focused service, particularly canned alcohol and bottled soft drinks, whereas Burnt Cedar Beach offers a more comprehensive food and beverage full-service experience. This includes handling canned alcohol, bottled soft drinks, and prepared food items utilizing a cashless point-of-sale system, ensuring smooth transaction experiences for customers. The environment is fast-paced and outdoors, demanding stamina for extensive walking during shifts while maintaining accuracy and strong guest engagement. This role requires a passion for hospitality, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to delivering consistent and friendly guest interactions.
Employment for this role is seasonal, spanning from May to August, with a competitive pay rate starting at $17 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips. The company values employees and offers attractive perks such as food and beverage discounts along with recreation discounts, encouraging team members to enjoy the amenities and foster a positive workplace culture. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and between six months to one year of food and beverage service experience. Additionally, obtaining specific permits and certifications, such as a valid work permit WCSO-Liquor within one week of employment and a valid Alcohol Awareness Card, is mandatory to ensure compliance with beverage service regulations. The company provides clear instructions on how to apply, supporting ease of access for potential candidates by allowing application submissions via email, fax, or in-person drop-off at the Human Resources office. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to gain valuable service experience in a dynamic and enjoyable outdoor setting, working closely with team members, and ensuring guests have an excellent time during their beach visits.
