- previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- ability to stand for extended periods

- ability to memorize standard beverage recipes

- knowledge of liquor, beer and wine brands and service standards
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately

- basic understanding of safety and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner
- receive and prepare beverage and food orders from guests
- know what brands of liquor, beer and wine are offered as comped beverages
- mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes
- maintain cleanliness of bar and pool area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top and pool furniture
- verify pool patrons are guests of the hotel, rv or invited guests over 21 years
- distribute pool towels to guests upon arrival, and collect upon departure
- maintain and replenish ice supply
- operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank
- never serve two drinks at the same time to one person, never a beer and a shot
- be aware of intoxicated guests
- stay current on care training
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned
