Job Description

Positive Behavior Support Corp. (PBS) is a respected leader in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), passionately dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals facing behavioral challenges. Established in 2007, PBS stands out as a BCBA-owned and operated company that prioritizes ethical, person-centered care without the influence of private investors. This independence reinforces PBS's commitment to aligning its clinical decisions closely with the needs and well-being of families impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). With a mission-driven team, PBS fosters a collaborative workplace environment where each member contributes to meaningful and lasting positive change for their clients.

Joining PBS as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) means becoming part of a supportive organization that values work-life balance, professional growth, and clinical excellence. PBS offers flexible scheduling, allowing BCBAs to choose a caseload that complements their personal lives, ensuring quality service delivery without compromising their own well-being. The company emphasizes transparency, including salary disclosures and a compensation estimator tool that helps prospective employees understand their earning potential. Furthermore, PBS provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with maternity and paternity leave for full-time employees.

In this role, BCBA professionals are responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and designing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. They supervise and mentor Behavior Assistants, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Student Analysts to maintain high standards of ABA therapy. These therapy sessions may take place in the home, schools, or community settings, focusing on behavior reduction, skill acquisition, and generalization. Collaborative efforts with families, caregivers, and other professionals are integral to supporting client progress, ensuring that all interventions align with the client’s goals.

PBS BCBAs rely on data analysis to monitor client outcomes continuously, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans to enhance the effectiveness of care. Maintaining strict compliance with ethical standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and PBS policies is fundamental to the role. The organization’s culture of mentorship and clinical support helps BCBAs flourish professionally, offering opportunities for further credentials, participation in continuing education programs, and attendance at the annual PBS conference.

PBS also incorporates innovative technology with personalized in-house tools designed to streamline scheduling, behavior intervention plan writing, time entry, and other administrative tasks, contributing to increased efficiency and reduced paperwork stress for clinical staff. Competitive compensation packages include quarterly bonuses and sign-on bonuses in select areas, along with a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, fostering financial security for employees.

Beyond the tangible benefits and career progression opportunities, PBS nurtures a company culture committed to its mission: to create a responsive system applying PBS principles that meet the needs of individuals, families, and organizations. The ultimate goal is to generate sustainable quality-of-life changes, supported by a team of competent, enthusiastic professionals dedicated to making a difference every day. BCaBA positions are also available, offering competitive packages adjusted by region and licensure requirements, broadening opportunities for qualified candidates in the behavioral analysis field.
