The Server Assistant role at Four Seasons Hotel Houston is integral to delivering impeccable dining experiences at the Bayou & Bottle Restaurant. Server Assistants support servers throughout meal periods by ensuring guests receive attentive service, managing dining areas’ cleanliness, and anticipating guest needs proactively. As a full-time role, this position demands flexibility in working hours, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Server Assistant will assist with delivering beverages and bread service, clearing tables efficiently, resetting dining areas according to standards, and completing opening and closing tasks. Attention to detail, a neat and organized work approach, and excellent communication skills in English are essential. The role also requires previous experience in food and beverage, ideally within a luxury restaurant setting, reflecting the high standards expected at Four Seasons.

Job Duties

  • Assist servers by providing water, bread and butter service, coffee and tea throughout the meal to guests, replacing silverware when necessary, clearing dirty dishes and anticipating guests’ needs before requests are made
  • Complete opening and closing sidework as assigned and have all tables set according to standard, check and set the breakfast station, breakdown any buffets, displays or stations between service or when needed
  • Clear tables efficiently and quietly between guests and reset them for specific number of persons
  • Always ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
