TBCC is renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality service, a vibrant culture, and a strong dedication to fostering inclusive and engaging environments for both members and employees. As a leader in the private club and hospitality industry, The Bay Club Company continuously seeks talented individuals who are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to upholding the company’s high standards and values.
The Operations Associate position at The Bay Club Company is an integral role designed to support the successful operation of the club by assisting in various capacities throughout the facility. This role involves delivering the highest level of member service, maintaining the club’s cleanliness, and embodying a consistently positive and professional demeanor. The role is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and who enjoy interacting with a diverse membership base. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.13 and provides a foundation for career growth within the hospitality industry.
An Operations Associate gains comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple aspects of club operations including customer service, reception, café oversight, pool deck management, parking garage duties, cleanliness maintenance, and effective communication within the club community. Key responsibilities include greeting members and guests, managing check-in processes, handling guest registrations, booking appointments and class reservations, and offering detailed information about club programs and amenities. The role also involves supervising the reception desk by managing cash transactions and answering phone inquiries, overseeing café operations including food and beverage preparation and service, and assisting with pool deck hospitality duties.
This position is essential in maintaining the overall member experience and club environment, requiring a high standard of professionalism, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. Associates are encouraged to operate with a sense of ownership and to embrace the company’s unique Code of Culture, which centers around respect for the past, taking responsibility, paying it forward, and living by core values such as honesty, proactivity, humility, teamwork, and curiosity.
The Bay Club Company promotes an inclusive workplace that values diversity, equality, and equal opportunity for all employees without discrimination based on race, gender identity, religious beliefs, disabilities, and other protected characteristics. This ensures a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where every associate can thrive.
The Operations Associate role also demands physical stamina as the job requires extended periods of standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will be certified in CPR and, depending on the specific club area, may also need food safety and responsible beverage service certifications.
Overall, the Operations Associate position at The Bay Club Company offers a fulfilling career path for individuals seeking to develop their hospitality skills in a reputable organization committed to delivering exceptional service and fostering a collaborative team environment.
