Bartender/Server (Part-Time)

The position available is for a Bartender to join the dynamic food and beverage team at one of Azul Hospitality's prestigious hotel properties. This role is essential in providing friendly, courteous, and efficient quality presentation of both food and beverage service to all guests. The bartender will be responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking food and drink orders, and ensuring a clean, organized bar environment. This includes a variety of duties such as restocking bar inventory, assisting with recipe batching, verifying customer identification to comply with legal drinking age restrictions, and operating cash registers when necessary.

As part of the hospitality team, the bartender plays a key role in elevating the guest experience by offering expert product knowledge, making menu suggestions, and delivering attentive service. The position demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high volume bar setup. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, maneuvering in tight spaces, lifting and pushing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness standards to uphold health and safety regulations.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old with one to three years of high volume bar experience, hold certifications such as the Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification, as well as the California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
