The position at hand is for a professional bartender/mixologist who will be an indispensable part of the bar operations by ensuring exceptional customer service while skillfully serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, along with food items in a timely and efficient manner. This role demands not only technical bartending skills but also the ability to engage and entertain guests by sharing knowledge about spirits, history, and cocktail trivia that enhances the guest experience. The bartender will be knowledgeable about daily specials, ongoing events, and promotions to effectively upsell and contribute to a lively bar atmosphere.
Key responsibilities include accurately taking orders, handling special requests, monitoring guest satisfaction, and completing all side work such as replenishing supplies, cleaning ice bins, and changing kegs. The bartender will conduct opening and closing procedures following company standards, strictly adhere to food safety and sanitation policies, and maintain a professional appearance by wearing the assigned uniform and nametag at all times. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have or be able to obtain a ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment
- Bartending/mixologist experience of at least 2 years
- Knowledge of wine and spirits
- Proficient with POS systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
- English language proficiency
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Hospitality experience is a plus
- Knowledge of wine and spirits is required
- Proficient with POS systems required
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions (reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling) for extended periods of time
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
- English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on business need
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service while serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items in a timely manner
- Entertain guests while mixing drinks, talking about spirits and offering trivia and history about various alcohols to keep guests engaged and enjoying themselves
- Provide up-to-date knowledge of daily specials, events, and promotions
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate special requests to the kitchen
- Monitor bar area to ensure guest satisfaction, respond promptly to additional requests, and determine when drinks are near completion
- Ensure all side work (replenishing supplies, cleaning ice bins, changing kegs, etc.) is completed
- Conduct opening and closing procedures in accordance with company standards
