Bartender/Server – Leadership Opportunity at The Howe

We are currently seeking a flexible, experienced Bartender/Server to join our energetic team in a part-time capacity. This role is unique in that it combines bartending and serving duties with leadership responsibilities, offering hourly pay ranging from the minimum wage plus tips for bartending and serving up to $24-$28 per hour during supervisory shifts. The Bartender/Server Hybrid position provides the opportunity to supplement hours as a supervisor while creatively engaging in fast-paced bar service. Your shifts will be varied and include evenings, weekends, as well as brunch shifts, requiring flexibility and dedication.

As a Bartender/Server, you will be at the heart of our service, crafting memorable guest experiences with expertly prepared cocktails, local brews, and excellent hospitality. You will use your knowledge of drinks to enhance the guest experience while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Alongside your bartending duties, you will embrace leadership tasks including supporting daily operations, coordinating shifts, mentoring team members, and helping to maintain high standards of service. This combination of roles allows you to develop leadership skills and support the restaurant’s overall success.

The role requires strong communication skills, interpersonal rapport with guests and teammates, and the ability to stay organized and composed in a busy environment. You will foster a positive team environment built on collaboration, accountability, and shared commitment to creating an exceptional dining experience. Working closely with both front- and back-of-house teams, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a culture of excellence.
