As a Bartender/Server at Russian River Brewing Company in Windsor, you will play a crucial role in manifesting the company’s mission to deliver world-class hospitality and craft beer experiences. This dynamic position requires an individual who is passionate about beer, customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere. The Bartender/Server serves as an ambassador for the brewery, responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service that enhances the overall customer experience. Your primary tasks will include greeting guests warmly, accurately taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and maintaining extensive knowledge of the beer selection and menu items. Maintaining sanitation standards, monitoring responsible alcohol service, and ensuring compliance with state liquor laws will be essential aspects of your role.

Beyond service duties, you will engage with guests by sharing your knowledge of craft beers and assisting with merchandise and take-home products, thereby enriching the customer’s visit. Job Requirements

minimum 5 years year of bartending experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
passion for and good knowledge of craft beer and guest service
ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
responsible beverage service certification required (RRBC can provide training)
california food safety certification required (RRBC can provide training)
flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Qualifications

minimum 5 years year of bartending experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
passion for and good knowledge of craft beer and guest service
ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
excellent attention to detail and sound judgment
ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
responsible beverage service certification required (RRBC can provide training)
california food safety certification required (RRBC can provide training)
flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
bilingual skills are a plus

Job Duties

greet guests warmly and assist with seating as needed
take food and beverage orders accurately and courteously
maintain strong knowledge of beer selections, menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing
serve beer, beverages, and food in a kind, professional and timely manner
maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout shifts, including opening and closing duties
verify guest age and follow all state liquor regulations and responsible beverage service practices
monitor guest alcohol consumption and respond appropriately when needed
process payments accurately and responsibly using the POS system
assist guests with merchandise, growlers, and packaged beer to-go purchases
stock and maintain bar inventory including glassware, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and supplies
resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary
support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment
