Job Requirements
- Able to serve alcohol according to state law
- able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location
- able to perform simple mathematical calculations related to money handling
- able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to five hours
- must have good sense of balance and ability to bend, kneel, and lift bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of guest relations
- understanding of liquor and menu items
- familiarity with service sequences and alcohol awareness
- experience with point of sale operation
- ability to prepare drinks following recipes and garnishes
- competence in money handling
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Make each guest feel appreciated through accommodating actions
- practice the hospitality halo with everyone within a six-foot radius by smiling, stepping aside, and speaking first
- work as a team with all O'Charley's team members
- communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests and team members while maintaining self-composure
- immediately greet guests and ensure prompt and efficient food and beverage delivery
- stay organized, think and act quickly and effectively, and have a sense of urgency
- maintain a thorough knowledge of service sequences and guidelines to serve guests effectively
