Job Requirements

able to serve alcohol according to state law
able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location
able to perform simple mathematical calculations
able to stand and move for up to five hours
good sense of balance
able to bend, kneel, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
knowledge of liquor laws and alcohol service regulations
proficiency with point-of-sale systems
basic math skills for money handling

Job Duties

act as an effective salesperson for food and beverage items
make guests feel appreciated through accommodating actions
practice the hospitality halo by smiling, stepping aside, and speaking first
work collaboratively with all team members
communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests and staff
greet guests promptly and ensure timely food and beverage delivery
maintain thorough knowledge of service sequences, bar accounting, and drink recipes
prepare quality drinks and ensure perfect drink presentations
keep the bar clean and well-stocked
handle mistakes by taking ownership and resolving guest concerns
