As a bartender at Oak View Group, you will hold a pivotal role in ensuring patrons experience a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Job Requirements

Prior experience working in a bar or restaurant environment preferred
knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and recipes
strong customer service skills
excellent communication skills
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
attention to detail
basic math skills
willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills preferred
certification in responsible alcohol service may be required

Job Qualifications

Prior experience working in a bar or restaurant environment preferred
knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and recipes, including cocktails, wines, and beers
strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and provide personalized service
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and transactions
basic math skills for handling cash and making change
willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills preferred
certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) may be required, depending on local regulations

Job Duties

Welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly service at the bar
accurately take drink and occasionally food orders
mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
monitor alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary (per company policy)
keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked during and after shifts
wash and properly store glassware and bar tools
process payments, issue receipts, and balance the till at end of shift
restock beer, spirits, garnishes, and other bar essentials
follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures
communicate effectively with floor staff, kitchen staff, and management
handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner
assist with closing duties, including cleaning and securing the bar
