Fraunces Tavern is a historic and iconic restaurant located in the Financial District of New York City. We are currently seeking a professional and experienced bartender to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of service that our guests expect. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of bartending in New York restaurants or bars, demonstrating stability and commitment rather than frequent job changes. A strong knowledge of craft beer and expertise in crafting high-end cocktails with consistency are critical for success in this position. Working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment is necessary, as is the ability to provide excellent service to a sophisticated and diverse clientele.

The bartender will be responsible for contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring it is well-stocked at all times. Professionalism, even during the busiest hours, is a must, as is open availability throughout the week including weekends and holidays. Fraunces Tavern operates 364 days a year, closing only on Christmas Day, so flexibility is paramount.
