We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bar and Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role is integral in managing bar supplies, preparing drink orders, and providing excellent guest service both at the bar and the front desk. The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of various types of liquor, drink recipes, pricing, and proper serving techniques, ensuring guests receive beverages that meet our quality standards. They will also be adept in cash handling, including using POS systems like MICROS, managing discounts, tips, and maintaining accurate financial transactions.
Apart from bar duties, this role includes front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, checking guests in and out, handling service recovery, and responding to guest requests promptly. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a high work ethic, and the ability to thrive under pressure during busy shifts. Formal training in liquor liability and adherence to company policies are mandatory, ensuring compliance and responsible service of alcohol.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to work in a standard office environment including prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer 6-8 hours a day
- Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move 10-25 pounds as needed
- Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Attend liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
- Willingness to work as part of a team and provide excellent guest service
Job Qualifications
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written to communicate with guests and associates
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- Able to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
- Courtesy and professionalism in dealing with guests
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively
- Basic computer skills especially with point of sale systems
- Trained in liquor liability as required
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
Job Duties
- Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
- Must be completely familiar with all different kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks proper glassware used for each recipe as well as garnishes needed
- Know drink recipes prices and type of beverages available
- Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures to include proper discounting MICROS system or registers bank procedures and tip policies
- Responsible for accurately charging the guests for drinks
- Responsible for accurate intake of all the monies
- Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations at all times
- Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
- Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
- Work at the front desk answering phones checking guests in and out service recovery and assisting with guest requests
