Job Description

Manthey Hospitality is a distinguished company known for delivering exceptional guest experiences through their Yacht StarShip service. Yacht StarShip offers elevated dining cruises, sightseeing adventures, weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations on the picturesque waters of Clearwater and the Gulf Coast. Over the years, it has built a reputation for combining polished hospitality with seamless marine operations, creating memorable moments against breathtaking waterfront views. The company prides itself on its attentive service, commitment to safety standards, and a collaborative team environment that ensures every guest enjoys an unparalleled experience on board. As part of Manthey Hospitality, the Yacht StarShip stands as a premier destination for those seeking sophisticated dining and event experiences on the water, blending elegant ambiance with professional service excellence.

The Bartender role at Yacht StarShip is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, guest interaction, and the art of crafting exceptional cocktails. This position requires a candidate who thrives in dynamic environments, such as onboard vessels that operate in tight spaces and on moving waters. The successful bartender will contribute to delivering polished, attentive service that supports premier dining experiences during cruises lasting between 2 to 5 hours, with occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours. Responsibilities include crafting classic, specialty, and craft cocktails consistently and accurately, using strong cocktail knowledge and excellent communication skills to enhance guest satisfaction. The bartender will maintain bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure the workspace is clean and organized. Operating POS systems efficiently is essential to guarantee accurate guest billing, while adherence to all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service standards assures guest safety. Maintaining sanitation and hygiene in compliance with department of health and maritime standards is a critical aspect of this role, alongside active participation in safety drills and strict observance of vessel safety procedures. The position offers competitive pay, with benefits including medical and ancillary coverage for full-time employees, 401(k) plans with employer match, subsidized parking, complimentary cruise tickets, and brand discounts. Manthey Hospitality fosters an inclusive work environment by upholding equal opportunity employment policies, making this an ideal role for bartenders eager to advance their careers in upscale, high-volume hospitality settings while enjoying the unique atmosphere of waterfront service.
